Our first official group trip called for a weeklong exploration of one of our favorite regions in Italy, Puglia. With Lecce being one of Hannah's past hometowns, planning this trip felt like planning a trip home. Her lived experience in Pugliese culture shaped every decision in the itinerary, built for women who have already explored parts of Italy, or were seeing Italy for the first time. We strive to incorporate the authenticity of Italy no matter where we're sending clients or sharing our recommendations… and this trip was no exception.

Our 7-day trip was built around two home base cities: Monopoli and Lecce. From Monopoli, we explored the northern towns of Puglia: Bari, Alberobello, Polignano a Mare, and Ostuni. Once we traveled south to Lecce, we took a day trip to Gallipoli, spent a beach day on the Ionian sea, and finally explored Lecce itself. The itinerary spanned from guided tours with Francesco covering Puglia's rich and layered history, to an authentic cooking class learning how to make Orecchiette, to a dance class learning the traditional Pizzica. A unanimous favorite afternoon from the week was sharing in a wine tasting at a local organic farm. Incredible wines and bites and overwhelmingly beautiful land? We’ll be back. Of course we also made time for souvenir shopping, resting, and plenty of gelato breaks.

Above all, our dream for this trip was to share the unbelievable beauty and richness of the region of Puglia. Success! It was so special to host our first ever Group Trip with women who started as strangers, and left as sisters!
